The First Travel Holding
In reference to the macro policies of the Country and those of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization to implement the article 44 of the constitution for all-out support of public bodies formed through public participation (public joint-stock) and in order to thoroughly support different sectors of tourism industry via accumulation of the investors’ potentialities and formation of specialized and professional bodies in the industry, a group of investors active in private sector founded the first travel holding namely, Marcopolo Tourism Development Company (PJS). Providing the opportunity for the participation of those interested in the development of tourism industry and playing an effective role in tourism development and prosperity are among the most important objectives of this country.
Bringing about synergy and unity, giving value and worth to industry, through investment in different sectors is one of the most outstanding factors in the travel holding activities. As a result, in addition to the enhancement of investment functions, the value of the shareholders’ stock and their profit increase.

On Jan. 7th and 8th, a two-day workshop was held by Marcopolo Iran-Touring Holding Company at Khazar Azadi Hotel. In the event, wherein the participants were the representatives of travel agencies across Iran, the opportunity was provided in a way that the active agents in tourism field could get familiar with one another in an amiable atmosphere.
