Marcopolo Tourism Development Company (PJS) as the first travel holding company was inaugurated in a ceremony attended by the respected president of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization.
Miras Aria (CHTN) - The inauguration ceremony held in Tehran Grand Hotel was attended by Mr. Hamid Baghaei, the Vice President and the President of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization, the Ambassador of Kenya to Iran, a delegation from the embassy of Romania and Malaysia in Tehran, the presidents of foreign Airlines, a group of IR Iran Airline directors, the secretary of hotels association, the board of directors of hotels union, members of the board of directors of Tehran Tour and Travel Agencies Association, the board of directors of Iran Travel Agencies Association, the board of directors of Tour Operators Association, the board of directors of Tour Guides Association, the director general for the presidency of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts, and Tourism Organization, the director general for the educational planning, the director general for the centers of establishing standards and tourism services, the director general for local tourism development, the director general for international tourism, the director general for marketing and advertising, a group of university professors, the managers of travel agencies, as well as those of tourism department.
What this company is after is to attract the participation all people and sectors interested in development and enhancement of tourism industry and to motivate the private sector to actively and effectively take part in international markets so that even more tourists could be attracted.
