(December 30th, 2009) The Visit Paid by Deputy Tourism President and Directors General of ICHTO to Administrative Measures of Marcopolo Travel Holding Company
Seyed Reza Mousavi, The Deputy Tourism President of Iran Cultural Heritage, handicrafts and Tourism Organization, during a 3-hour visit to different sections of Marcopolo Travel Holding Company, was informed of the company’s administrative programs and wide-ranging activities. In this visit, Ansari, the Managing Director of the Travel Holding, presented a thorough report to the visiting group on company’s plans and, then, the managing directors of the seven specialized subsidiary companies of the holding provided the audience with the plans, perspectives, and the projects under way as well as the potentials and capabilities and the progress report of each project.
The managing director of the holding reiterated that the main approach of Marcopolo is a stable wholesaling tour operation observing high standards and added that in the near future, a variety of tour packages would be produced and offered to win the attention of both the domestic and foreign tourists.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Ameri, the Director General for ICHTO Advertising and Marketing, Mr. Pouyandeh, the Director General for Tourism Development, Mr. Seifi, the Public Relations Manager, Mr. Zolfaghari, the Director General for Tourism Centers and Services, Mr. Ketabchi, the Secretary of Tourism Coordination Society, Mr. Fayyazi, the Tourism Committee Vice-President, as well as Mr. Farzaneh, the Chair of the Board of Directors of Marcopolo Holding, Mr. Akhavan, the Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Saeidi, the Member of the Board of Directors together with Managing Directors of the Specialized Subsidiary Companies.
In his concluding speech, Mr. Mousavi, the Deputy Tourism President, expressing his satisfaction with the visit and explaining the policies of the ICHTO, gave the required instructions to the officials in charge to speed up the execution of the plans, declared the organization support for the offered plans by the specialized companies of Marcopolo Holding, and called the performed activities in Marcopolo Holding Company an apt enterprise.
