Cultural Heritage and Tourism Organization Investment Deputy asserted that planning and operating tours via travel holding companies reduce the surcharge and multiply the tourists’ favorite options. It is the most important goal we expect the holding companies to fulfill so that people can get the most out of travelling facilities in the country.
On a visit to Marcopolo group, Hossein Fazeli, together with directors general, mentioning that recently appropriate measures have been taken to develop tourism, said: “the required foundation for the development of tourism industry has been laid in form of residential and tourism complexes, on-route complexes and other establishments related to the industry. He, mentioning that in the tourism industry we are just at the beginning, pointed out that considering the taken actions, we predict that we can witness a tremendous progress in the field in the near future so that we can minimize that gap and get close to the forerunners in the tourism industry.
He emphasized that one of the means to speed up the process of getting to the goal is working in form of groups like that of Marcopolo group; the one which can utilize micro-capacities in form of a macro-structure. Fazeli also added that Marcopolo as the first travel holding company is a role model for other interested companies who aspire to do the same.
He concluded that with regard to the macro plans for 1404 and reaching the record of 20 million tourists per year in Iran, it is hoped that we can even get to the prospective sooner than the predetermined time.
